Mori Kaho, a member of STU48 recently revealed that she has been sexually harassed by their theater manager.
Using a live streaming app called SHOWROOM, the 21-year-old idol held a live stream on June 30, 2018, and suddenly broke down in tears in front of her viewers/fans.
According to Kaho, a manager whom she called "Manager Y", has told her a few shocking things. Most notably telling her that her skin is too white and flashy, she's more suited in the adult industry.
Albeit done verbally, this is can be counted as an act of sexual harassment.

According to Japanese forums the "Manager Y" mentioned in Kaho's stream is none other than Manabu Yamamoto, STU48's theater manager.

The rumors about "Manager Y" were actually confirmed when Manager Yamamoto himself posted an apology statement on STU48's official website, although stating that "there has been a misunderstanding".
As of this time, there are not yet any reports on what steps both parties will take to resolve the issue.
