Super Sentai Strongest Battle Mini-series Announced

Look's like 2019 will have a great start for the Super Sentai franchise as a special mini-series entitled "Super Sentai Strongest Battle" has been announced and will feature various heroes from ToQger to Kyuranger!

The 4-part mini-series will replace Kaito Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger after the series ends its 51 episode run and before the new team's series debuts. The cast will consist of Ryota Ozawa (Gokai Red), Ai Moritaka (ToQ-5), Shunsuke Nishikawa (Akaninger), Masaki Nakao (Zyuoh Eagle) and Yosuke Ishi (Sasori Orange).

The story revolves around a mysterious girl, Rita, who gathers all Super Sentai heroes to the planet nemesis to battle for the ultimate prize: any wish that they desire will come true. 160 heroes will be divided into 32 teams of 5 members each.

Directed by Koichi Sakamoto and written by Naruhisa Arukawa, Super Sentai Strongest Battle will premiere in February 17, 2019.

Nice to see them bringing back the less popular ones like toqger, nininger and zyuohger. Give the characters a chance to properly shine.

  3. Great start for Sentai? More like Toei is trying to play safe to keep Sentai franchise alive since the viewership rating for Super Sentai series plummeted for the past 4 years.

It's cool that we've got some confirmation that Lupinranger Vs Patoranger will have 51 episodes in total, But who wanted this? 3/5 Sentai's in that team was awful.
