Sadness has struct the Super Sentai fandom, especially Filipino fans, that Japanese voice actress Yoshiko Ohta, who voiced Peebo in Chodenshi Bioman, has passed away at the age of 89.
It was reported that the cause of her death was heart failure. Yoshiko was also known for voicing popular anime characters such as Nobita Nobi in the 1979 Doraemon anime series, Kimba in Kimba the White Lion, and many more.
To all of us here in the Super Sentai and anime community, thank you very much for the legacy that you have left us. Rest in peace.
