The moment that every solid fan has been waiting for is finally here as the recent Tamashii Nation Online 2021 event revealed the first official look, the cast, and more on Kamen Rider Black Sun!
News from the event confirms that this remake will be a movie instead of a mini-series which will star Hidetoshi Nishijima as Minami Kotaro/Kamen Rider Black Sun, and Tomoya Nakamura as Nobihiko Akizuki/Kamen Rider Shadowmoon. Instead of being adopted brothers, the two will be close friends.
As for the main suit, an S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Black Sun and a Completes Selection Modification Kamen Rider Black Sun Henshin Belt was teased from the event.
Finally, Kamen Rider Black Sun's supermachine, the Battle Hopper, was also put on display at the said event. Written by Izuya Takahashi, directed by Kazuya Shiraishi with visuals by Shinji Higuchi and Kiyotaka Taguchi, the movie is set for a 2022 release date.
