Weeks after announcing his return as the man of steel and making a cameo in the recent Black Adam movie, Henry Cavill has posted on his official instagram profile that he has come in good terms with the new heads at DC studio and will not return as Superman.
James Gunn has confirmed that he will instead be producing a Superman movie that will focus on the iconic superhero's early days in Metropolis.
As for Henry's said tweet:
Henry also confirmed that he will be producing a live-action Warhammer 40K series for Amazon. Fans have hoped for his permanent return but was surprised by this sad news. In my opinion, it really is a very sad news but let's all wait and see how this new DC universe that Gunn is building will turn out and put our trust in him.
