Thanks to this report from Hollywood Reporter, it was announced that a new live-action adaption film of the popular manga and anime series by Tsukasa Hojo, City Hunter, is in the works!
This new live-action adaptation will star Japanese actor Ryuhei Suzuki (Hentai Kamen) as the main hero, Ryo Saeba. The film is written by Tatsuhiro Mishiman and will be directed by Yuichi Sato with an expected worldwide release on Netflix in 2023.
This will be the 4th live-action adaptation of City Hunter since 1993 which stars Jacky Chan, the 2011 South Korean TV series, and 2018's Nicky Larson et le parfum de Cupidon.
