Jiro Dan, lead actor of Return of Ultraman, a.k.a. Ultraman Jack, has passed away. He was 74.
According to the official announcement from his agency, the Ultra series actor passed away due to lung cancer on March 22, 2023.
Jiro Dan was best known for his portrayal as Hideki Go, the human host of Ultraman Jack. He has played the role for several entries in the Ultra franchise. He has also appeared in Super Sentai shows such as Hurricanger and Ryusoulger.
