It was revealed in the recently held Gundam Conference Winter 2024 event that a new Gundam anime series and gunpla kit based on it is coming next year. Read all about it after the break.

This upcoming new series is entitled Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX and is scheduled to be released next year. The series is written by Yoji Enokido and Hideaki Anna, mecha designs by Ikuto Yamashita, and is directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki.
Here is the synopsis for the new anime series:
"Amate Yuzuriha, a high school student leading a quiet life in a space colony orbiting the stars, finds her world turned upside down when she crosses paths with Nyaan, a war refugee. This chance encounter pulls her into the underground world of Clan Battle, a high-stakes, illegal mobile suit dueling sport.
Using the alias "Machu," Amate takes to the arena, piloting the formidable GQuuuuuuX in relentless battles day after day. Her life takes another dramatic turn when she encounters an unidentified Gundam mobile suit, relentlessly pursued by both the space force and the police. Its pilot, a mysterious boy named Shuji, brings with him the promise of change.
As their paths converge, Amate, Shuji, and the enigmatic Gundam are poised to usher in a new era that will reshape their world forever."
As for the 1/144 scale gunpla of the main mobile suit, here are the first set of released images from bandai.
No other information for the kit has been released as of now but it is confirmed that the release date will be on January 2025 and you can pre-order yours now at Hobby Link Japan.
