The newest team will consist of five core members: the hot-headed Gozyu Wolf, the charismatic Gozyu Leon, the naive Gozyu Tyranno, the happy-go-lucky Gozyu Eagle, and the cool Gozyu Unicorn, the first female black ranger in Super Sentai history.
The team will use the Tega Sword as their main weapon and transformation device. This weapon also transforms into their individual mechas. They will also harness the power of the Sentai Rings which holds the power of past red rangers.
The series is written by Akiko Inoue, Toshiki Inoue's daughter, and this will be her first time writing for the tokusatsu franchise with Ruyta Tazaki directing. No.1 Sentai Gozyuger will replace Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger in the Super Hero Time slot starting February 16, 2025.
