A sad news has hit the tokusatsu community as the new year started with the passing of Japanese-Canadian actor Robert Baldwin, who is known to his fans as Ramirez/Kyoryu Cyan in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.
The news was announced by his daughter, actress Rei Ariga, where his father passed away last December 26, 2024 due to the colon cancer that he was fighting in the past 2 years. Friends and family attended his funeral that was held last December 30, 2024.
His other notable role was in Chousei Kantai Sazer-X where he portrayed the role of Gordo, and as the voice of Ultraman Zearth in the Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroads.
From all of us fans, thank you very much for the good memories that you have given us. You will not be forgotten. Rest in peace and power.
