One Piece Film Z to be Released in 5 Asian Countries this January

Topping the Japanese Box Office Weekend in four consecutive weeks, it has been announced that “One Piece FILM Z” will be released in five Asian countries, starting this late January! Not only that. There are also plans on releasing the film in the European and North American regions.

The five Asian countries who will get their experience with the film are: Taiwan on January 25th, Singapore on February 1st, Hong Kong on February 14th, and followed by Thailand and Korea. According to them, they have already gotten offers from five more countries in the region.

One Piece Film Z is currently TOEI's highest grossing film since 2000, earning at least 6 billion yen and sold 5.04 million tickets. It is also the fastest Japanese domestic film to sell 1 million tickets in 2012!

The "Dyna Stone", a Marines' secret weapon that is comparable to the Ancient Weapons, has suddenly been stolen! Behind this is former Marine Admiral "Z", who now stands in the path of the Straw Hat Pirates. Eiichiro Oda himself will oversee the production of the “One Piece Film Z” as its executive producer.

I think Philippines will surely be included. There are co-animators of One Piece here, after all, so it would be peculiar for the PH to be excluded.
