New images from the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine reveals new information on the latest installments of the Pokemon game franchise, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. These center around the game's trainers and new added Pocket Monsters.
The game is set in the Karos Region which appears to be based on France. For the first time, players can customize the trainer's appearance slightly with hair color and skin shade. Main city is called Miare City.
Four new Pokemon are revealed in this issue: Gogoat, Elikiteru, Yayakoma, Yancham.
- Gogoat is 1.7m, 91.0kg Grass Type Pokemon. Called the Riding Pokémon, you can actually ride this Pokémon in the field. It can learn Horn Leech.
- Elikiteru is a Electric/Normal-type lizard Pokemon. It is a 0.5m and 6.0kg Generation Pokémon. It has a new move called Parabola Charge which heals the user while damaging opponents. It uses solar rays to generate electricity.
- Yayakoma is a 0.3m, 1.7kg Japanese Robin Pokémon, a Normal/Flying-type. It announces itself with a beautiful voice and can use the move Flame Charge.
- Lastly, Yancham is a 0.6m, 8.0kg Naughty panda Pokémon. It is of Fighting-type and has a new move called Parting Remark which lowers the opponents stats and causes the user to switch out.

I love all 4 of these, add Chespin and I think I may have my first team lined up.
It's a weird tradition thing I have where I pick a team before I start the game and mostly just use that line up.
Now the game is starting to pick my interest
Okay I hope Yayakoma evolves into a European Robin then an american one, that would make great evolutionary contrast.
Second, I hope they add more than that superficial character "race" change, A few more varieties for those that don't fall under those appearances naturally.
Thirdly, Gogoat is definitively on my team. As well as Yayakoma who I will nickname Damian if I catch a male.
Fourth, New region looks sweet and so does the Card looking Pokedex.
Finally I assume that blonde beneath the player select is either the rival or Professor.
