The first Hunter × Hunter film, “Hunter × Hunter the Movie: Phantom Rogue”, opened in Japan last January 12th, and tops the Japanese Box Office Weekend charts! It dethroned “One Piece Film Z” which topped the charts for four weeks.
The film reportedly earned 456,779,000 yen (about US$5,143,930) from 357,976 old tickets, on 257 screens.
Kurapika's "scarlet eyes" were stolen by an unknown party. On the brink of death, his life was saved with the help of Gon, Killua, and Leorio. The Phantom Troupe stands before them, along with Omokage, the true identity of the person with the No.4 spider tattoo.
The end of the film confirms the production of the second Hunter × Hunter film.

Awesome! Its too bad I got to wait for it to come out on dvd/bluray and then wait for subs so I can watch it. It will be worth it im sure.
