Naruto: Road to Ninja Film Gets Philippine Screening This April [Updated]

First it's Rurouni Kenshin, then One Piece Film Z, yesterday it's Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge, and just now, Pinoneer Films had announced the Philippine screening of ninth Naruto film, “Naruto the Movie: Road to Ninja,” this May 15th April 10th as an SM Cinexclusive!

UPDATE: Pioneer Films announces that they will be showing the film earlier than its supposed screening due to time constraints and to go ahead of the film's DVD and Blu-Ray release.

“Naruto: Road to Ninja” is now considered as the highest grossing Naruto anime film, earning over 1.46 billion yen (about US$18.3 million) within 17 days, being seen 1.25 million times by fans! On its opening weekend, it earned an estimated $3.8 million USD bringing it to the 10th spot of the Top 10 World Box Office Ranking for the opening weekend.

To celebrate the Naruto anime’s 10th anniversary, the film features a story and character designs personally conceived by the creator of the manga, Masashi Kishimoto. Naruto and Sakura are transported from the Hidden Leaf Village to an alternate reality created by the Masked Man’s genjutsu.
