I still exclusivly shop for black clothing to this day since Tommy's line in DINO Thunder: "I'm going to have to go buy some black clothes now, huh?"
Thats right, I was dressing in black before emo and even goth was "cool".
Thanks Jason(Writers of Dino Thunder, whatever)

I wonder if what he says at the 12 minute mark is true. If it is, how does it feel to look like fools naysayers? All of you that were crying fire when there was no smoke.

I mean, it's a damn shame if they only picked up 10 (then again, it's only going to be 20 episodes, right? Not that big of a deal.), but still, fact of the matter is, again, if true, everybody that came out and said they turned down the offer are full of shit, and just wanted their 15 seconds in the spotlight. That's just sad.

    for anonymous 6:10:

the gist of it is that Saban sent a letter that was not a deal or invite, but asking if a ranger would be interested in returning. According to tommy this was sent to about 60 former rangers, and no more than 2-3 members per season. Of those 60, ten would be chosen to make cameos. He inferred that for him it was not about the money.

He then inferred that many of the rangers who didnt get the original invite or got the rejection letter, like titanium, for not making the ten were saying it was about the money.

In a way JDF is right and wrong. While the way he spins it it's not, it was just the process, the actual reason why those rangers didnt get the invite or got rejected was because of money cause they only were planning on using ten actors.

Now whether you think that's because saban has a set budget and can't afford more, or that haim saban is cheap, is up to the individual. Personally, considering the amount of money i think saban is making off the franchise, the fact that its target audience are kids who may not remember much of previous seasons, and the fact they only have 20 episodes for megaforce, i'm more inclined to think it's budgetary and not a personal choice.

number one reason for that: obviously saban isn't stupid. he knows the more past rangers show up the more epic the anniversary would be, and the better chance to have the parents who grew up on PR watch it with their kids, creating new audiences. That's why i think it's a matter of CANT not WONT.

I feel like he's only saying that cuz he's working with saban again. In the past didn't he defended disney a bit but now he's like they're crap.

Also either way of looking at it the invitation back to super megaforce is crap too. even if every single person who declined was making things up, they still invited 60+ rangers with the intention of bringing back like what 10 or 9 cuz of course they would have to bring back JDF. looking over who confirmed, we got 3 lost galaxy rangers and pretty much no disney era except for jason smith but hes writing for them. their invitation is just wonky.

IDK, personally, I don't think so many past ranger would jump on the bandwagon of calling saban cheap or badmouthing them just because they're "hurt" about not getting accepted. I want to believe JDF when he says everybody is just hurting but he stated himself that he's willing to drop everything to do megaforce if invited in the past which is awesome of him. us fans probably been bothering every single past ranger since forever about this so maybe they felt like they had to say something but these ppl have moved on everybody not returning or are and if they re on the returning side good for them but if theyre not probably cuz they like where they are now and not so willing to just up and leave for a week or 2 or however long it takes just for a 2 minute cameo.

  6. I am a Sentai fan not PR fan but JDF comes off more of what a a Sentai character should be in the U.S. and all respect to that man. He did not care what Saban was paying and we know Saban is one fruegle bastard. JDF did it for the fans and the spirit of the show! All hats to the man of 4 colors and 5 suits!!!!

    @MLP Chikan

Excuse me, but I dont think you have any right to be thinking that we fans are wrong for complaining about this news about Saban. Because the news that Tommy gives about what Saban was doing at 12:00 still puts them in a discredible position. The fact that they gave them those vague, non-personal invites to do Super Megaforce & not pay them a decent wage, plus the fact that now apparently they werent even going to select all of them(just use TEN?!! Out of 60 PEOPLE YOU INVITED?!!) is pretty low, especially considering how they never even mention that in the invites. The rejection letter is pretty much a slap in the face. And that is inexcusable.

While yes, it is wrong for those actors to blame their rejection on other reasons than what was really done, that doesnt excuse Saban for their horrible logic & actions. So dont try to use this as a gateway to attack us fans who care for the Series & are upset when we hear that Saban is letting us down.

Personally I'm tired of all the rumors about super megaforce. I'll wait for that season and I'm sure that it'll much better without all the rumors.

Everybody knows that the TOMMY character, A.K.A. JDF is Saban's cash cow , Saban will cater to JDF's demands and gladly kiss his ass to do it . The other actors are just a dime a dozen in Saban's mind.

I was at Wizard World NYC Experience and during the Q&A when someone asked JDF about MMPR he said he wanted to stay out of it because his relationship with Saban right now is really good and there's a chance at making an OFFICIAL Green Ranger movie. Then he stated that he didn't really like the way they were writing it, quoting the "Tommy is on the run" bit and shaking his head about that idea.
