Gundam.info had released the second promotional video for the new Gundam Build Fighters anime series showcasing new scenes! The new Gundam anime is scheduled to premiere this October 7th.
Gundam Build Fighters follows the story of Sei Iori, a first-year middle-school student and the only son of a model shop owner, is talented at building GunPla, but inexperienced in the GunPla Battles. GunPla Battles are competitions between Gundam plastic model kits which become popular worldwide in the "Second GunPla Boom."
Along with his new found friend Reiji, an accomplished Gundam Fighter, they strive for the GunPla Battle world championships. Other characters include Tatsuya Yūki, nicknamed "Crimson Comet" with his Zaku Amazing, and Sei's schoolmate, China Kōsaka.
Gundam Build Fighters will be directed by Kenji Nagasaki (No. 6) with scripts supervision of Yousuke Kuroda (Gundam 00). Kenichi Ohnuki (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed C.E.73: Stargazer) and Suzuhito Yasuda (Durarara!!, Devil Survivor 2 The Animation) will handle the character designs. The mecha designers are Kunio Okawara, Junichi Akutsu, Junya Ishigaki, Kanetake Ebikawa, and Kenji Teraoka.
