The full trailer for the second anime film, “Tiger & Bunny THE MOVIE -The Rising-”, had been released in the film's official website. This features a new song from Unison Square Garden entitled “harmonized finale”.


Additionally, additional cast members had been announced. Rikiya Koyama plays Richard Max, a NEXT with powerful physique, Mugihito as the strange old man Johnny Wong, Nana Mizuki plays the mysterious, exotic woman Kasha Graham, and Houchu Ohtsuka as Mark Schneider, the successful and charismatic new owner of Apollon Media.

The Rising takes place after the events of the television series. Kotetsu Kaburagi had quit on being a hero and Barnaby Brooks Jr got himself a new partner, in the form of Golden Ryan. A new band of rogue NEXT tries to break peace at Sternbuild City. Can our heroes stop them?

Tiger & Bunny THE MOVIE -The Rising- will be directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani (GaoGaiGar: King of Braves), with screenplay from Masafumi Nishida. Cast from the TV series reprises their roles in the film, including Hiroaki Hirata as Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, Masakazu Morita as Barnaby Brooks Jr., Koji Yusa as Lunatic. The film premieres this February 8th, 2014.
