New Ressha Sentai ToQger Scans Feat. Series Finale Scenes & ToQ-1's New Forms

Here's a couple of new magazine scans featuring scenes from the Ressha Sentai ToQger finale and ToQ-1's new forms after he breaks the darkness that is consuming him slowly.

Right will obtain the following forms in the final battle against the Dark Emperor Zet.

ToQ-1 Builder - for the 1st time ever, Right will use the power of Akira that was deemed impossible because according to the Conductor, ToQ-6 doesn't need to switch lines.

Light ToQ-1 - Right will obtain this form after he breaks free of the darkness that forces him to transform into the black ToQ-1.

Rainbow ToQ-1 - Right will gain this final form after his friends lends him their Resshas.

2 more to go and this shit is over. This series gave me a toothache. I haven't hated a series this bad since Goseiger. Only thing about the final episode that I am looking forward to besides its much anticipated end is the hand off. Means at that point we can say goodbye to this tainwreck.

The suit actor for ToQ1 probably quit then work for TOEI again after this embarrassing stint. Can't say I blame them. TOEI has lost their way.

Such a shame that even down to this the series was predictable. This series will not be missed at all, it's only saving grace since the beginning were the villains. From Grita and Schwarz, the arrival of Zed (who I felt really carried the show), Noire's forced marriage and betrayal. I mean it goes on on just how much more interesting they were compared to our heroes.

I dunno, with this series I just find it ironic (and amusing) that a series centered around "IMAGINATIOOOOON" really had... well, it had none. Truly disappointing.

    Daigo Kiryu mode: Engage.

...tell me the final battle won't be one-on-one AGAIN...

That is NOT how Sentai works. The Daigo v. Deboss fight is what utterly ruined Kyoryuger for me for that reason... It was sorta OK until then, but after that I've never watched a single episode.

In b4 people defend this embarrassment. Not that much longer to go to before the corniest sentai in recent memory is done. A fucking Rainbow Power up? Really? Gonna blast Zed with Starburt Power? "Taste the rainow? Lol what a joke this series turned out to be.

Okay so I know that there is this preferential treatment for red rangers, but this is just downright disappointing. Why do they even call this a sentai series when it has practically become all about Right only?

  8. I loved this series. It is my favorite series since Gekiranger. I dont think you really understood the series as I did. But this series was amazing, and I cant wait for the V Cinema.

  10. He did not quit. He moved to a new character. Besides, everything about Sentai now is made for the kids. And Ninninger will be no different. If you are not happy then I am sorry, but that is the way its going to be. I am positive people will rip on Ninninger instantly, and its sad people cant try to appreciate the greatness of shows like ToQger.

  11. Good luck to you then. I am sure you will find some way to make Ninninger seem just as bad too.

  12. What else do you expect from a rainbow?! I kinda feel sorry for the people in this comments section. I mean not one thing they could say about ToQger to make it worthwhile for them?! I can name at least 50.

Hate to say it, but this series was a tad dissapointing. Between the lack of good design in the mechas (and mecha combinations), and the boring gold armor... Idk.

I was really expecting a Shinkenger story w/ Go-onger mechas.. instead I got a "here's the incredibly long filler eps with one, or maybe two things actually relevelant to story progression." Trains? Or blocks? Let's just stick them together - no folding, no bulk, just trains with really big heads, and really big feet.
ToQrainbow? Or blackboard with markers stuck to it? Hmm.

Not even going to address the hate. No point.

See you later ToQger. Hopefully i'll enjoy your successor. Right now i'm not sure, but i'll at least give them a chance to appeal to me.

this series is made for kids in japan. the storyline also far more clear and easy to follow compare to others sentai. the only bad thing is the costume design. gokaiger got cool costume design but the story is boring. btw its far more entertaining compare to PR.

  17. Lucky Ninja Says:

You guys can't keep saying "This series is made for kids in Japan." or "It's about rainbows."

I mean, both are true, but doesn't justify the fact that it's basically lackluster.

For example, Shinkenger had a great storyline as well as great character development. It's still a sentai for kids, but Shinkenger is beyond that of ToQGer.

Now I'm not saying ToQGer is all bad. I personally enjoyed some of it (not all, but some.) For instance, the battles between Right and Zed.

But come on guys. The lack of character development and the amount of filler episodes is crazy.

Episode 45 should have shown way earlier in the show, like episode 20 or so. Seriously, if you cut all the unnecessary episodes, there's really about 15-16 episodes that actually contribute to storyline progression.

Lastly, I'm perfectly fine with Right getting the final forms and such. Though I hope the whole team fights as one instead of just Right, it doesn't really bother me.

What bothers me that Hikari will never get the character development he deserves. All we know right now is that he's a guy who wears a green jacket and plays with his kendama. When he was young, his grandma and mom cared for him. But that's really it. I'm just disappointed in the balance of character development.

You may not agree with the things I said, and that's fine. I couldn't care less. But if you're gonna argue against me, at least take what I say in consideration.

TLDR: "Rainbows are for kids" is not an acceptable explanation for this. Though it has some good aspects, ToQGer could have been a better sentai in general. I see it as a waste of potential.

    @Lucky Ninja

Well Said, well said indeed. I think just want to whiteknight something. Going as far back as Gosieger these people constantly threw that bullshit line whenever they try to justify a boring, dull, corney, lackluster horrible season. I find absolutely nothing appealing about ToQcrapture and I'll be happy once it's over. Not to complain about another Sentai. They also like to say that line. But to get back to actually enjoying a Sentai series again.

Awww. I actually kind of liked this series. Oh well, I guess I'll just be that one weird guy in the room wearing a conductors hat.
