Movie concept for Zordon.

Movie concept for Alpha Five.

Movie concept for the main villain, Rita Repulsa.

Unfortunately, these movie concepts will not be used in the movie. Maybe later this early January when the movie starts filming, we will be seeing some official images from the reboot movie. BTW, all these concept art are great.

Can we PLEASE stop Fetishizing this one season. It has got to stop. It's a bad adaption of an okay season,I know it was different then anything that was on TV outside of Asia when it aired. Enough is enough. And anyway, this all just looks like fan art that you see on deviant art

Terrible. Not a single one look anything respectable like their original looks. The Zords may be OK, but Alpha, Zordon, Rita... they better NOT use them!!!!!!

Jeez, that's what happen when American does a take on Japanese toku. UGLY!

  5. Asshole Says:

Unofficial. Concept Art. Concept. Unofficial. Read first before jumping the gun, please. These are simply the artists' take on what they feel the movie could be. Wait for OFFICIAL images, then you can commence whining.

  6. @asshole

It's still slightly terrifying though. These might be unofficial, but they were still on the table at one point. I'm thrilled they didn't make the cut, but the way the movie industry is, it's entirely possible they could have been.

No dude, pretty sure they're just fanart.

I honestly can't get excited about this movie at all, no matter how they tried to convince me. When it was rumored that their names would be different, it got my interest, because that means it could be playing the legacy route by calling back the old actors. Now that Saban themselves has debunked that, I'm not so sure anymore.

Also, I agree with Anon1. The way most people are treating it, makes the first season feels waaaay overrated now, like it's the best thing that has ever happened in this franchise. Truth be told, it's just okay, and even Zyuranger itself isn't one of the best Sentai shows IMHO.

And seriously, Hollywood needs to stop making gritty and dark remake/reboot/whatever. It's getting really tiring already.

  10. People today are so uptight about everything. Why be so negative about this? We should be more opened to new ideas with reboots. This is the stuff America should be doing! I mean look at this stuff guys! How can you not like this or be interested. So futuristic, so detailed, so full of potential. As far as I can tell. this could absolutely the best thing America has ever done with a Super Sentai show. Why would you want a reboot to look or be the exact same way as what it is remaking? Keeping everything the same would make a reboot somewhat boring and meaningless, don't you think? Remember, in a reboot events, places or characters can be altered in different ways because a reboot has no ties to a movie with the same previous title. The concept of a reboot is what can make the movie even more interesting. Rita looks much younger from the concept art. Who knows, this could be the beginnings of Rita. These Rangers could be from an alternate universe, or a planet rather than Earth. In the first episode of MMPR, Zordon spoke of a group of warriors that battled with Rita before Zack, Trini, Jason, Billy and Kimberly. These Rangers could be those warriors of the past. Hey, we don't even know the names of the Rangers thus far. They could have different names. Look the reboot of the zords, Alpha, Zordon and command center, I love it! I don't know about you guys but I want to be the first in the theater to see this MMPR movie reboot.

  11. Look at that T-Rex zord, the command center, Alpha 5 and Zordon reboot! How can you not like that? It looks like the creators of Transformers, Star Trek and Marvel could be involved in this movie!
