I like the concept as sentai has not done much space motifs, using them only as an aside to the primary motif like in megaranger and dekaranger.

However if each ranger is to represent a planet shouldn't there be more than 6?

As ever, waiting until Toei's official announcement, but interesting nonetheless. Side note, am I the only one who thinks some of the early rumors sound more interesting than the actual series? Also, I have my Nelson Muntz laugh ready if/when the next series ends up not being space themed at all :P

If this is true, it would be awesome. I don't like 3-member series, but if it goes up to 8 (you included Pluto, not a planet anymore) I would be totally fine with it.

It's co-ed Sailor Moon. But at the same time, this concept seems fun.

I'm down. I hope this is true. It's been a while since we last had a space-themed Sentai. I hope we also get new colors as per many post-anniversary seasons.

A LOT of older Sentai didn't have red as their leaders. Kakuranger had NinjaWhite, MegaRanger's was MegaBlack, TimePink was TimeRanger's

The last time we got 3 member ranger squad is back in 2012 and then, Kyoruger ToQGer Ninninger and Zyuohger which is redundant and not to mention Fail!! So, let's stick to '3 core rangers'.

The three starting member planet:

Red = Mars
Blue = Jupiter
Yellow = Saturn

What about no red ranger and a gold ranger replacing the red ranger

I liked the ideia very much, having a full themed space sentai. I have a theory: if they'r protectin earth maybe there'll be no earth ranger n if u disregard pluto that's not a officially planet anymore it's make 7 rangers. Maybe they follow go-onger pattern, start with 3, them add 2 n 2 again. That's what makes sense to me.

Where does it state that each ranger would be based off a planet in are solar system? It would be so boring to see 7 different lifeless planets. I hope the series doesn't base every member on a planet in the Milky Way. It'd be cool if they explored outside the solar system and maybe have several team members be from different planets like the Gokaigers.

I rather prefer if their motif is based on constellations. I mean we still have no news from Toei whether they'll cancel this or not.

I don't wanna see a 3-Core team again (especially not Red-Blue-Yellow all the time). But, I really wanna see the new 5-Core Sentai team with Red-Pink-Black-White-Green. Plus, the new 6th sentai member (either Bronze or Copper). And plus, I also wanna see the first Super Sentai season with NO Blue and Yellow Sentai Heroes.

I agree with the next guy, but also disagrees.

I agree if we get like say 5 members again. Remember, the longest streak of 5-member Sentai was from Turboranger to Gaoranger, or 13 series. If Kyuranger in this case gets 5, then we'll have 5 straight series with 5-member Sentai. Otherwise, streak broken and go back to zero.

I disagree of a no-blue Sentai because it's a staple already in the series to have both red and blue present in a team, save for yellow, since it wasn't used in 4 out of the 40 Super Sentai. If Kyuranger goes with the RGBKW format (as suggested by AnimeLover569), then this could add up to the no-yellow Sentai, alongside the more recent Kyoryuger.

Trios are good, but in my opinion, the core team would be Red, Blue, and White, then Green and Black joins in later in the end of the first arc. In cases of sixth heroes, I strongly suggest they could do Bronze for a change, or go for either Silver or Gold... or say they're Dark Sentai for some reason.

How about the colors of Pink-Red-Black-White-Green? Well?

OK, I take it back. I wanna see the new/first 3-Core sentai team with Pink (Female Leader), Red (Male Second-In-Command) and Black (Male) as the 1st Group. Then, White (Male) and Green (Female) as the 2nd Group. And maybe, 2-Part 6th Sentai Hero, Either Bronze-A (Male) & Copper-B (Female), or Purple-A (Male) & Orange-B (Female) as the 3rd Group. And on one condition, without the Blue and Yellow Sentai heroes. Because, it has to be a new opportunity for the 41st Super Sentai season. What do you think about that idea 💡?
