Kamen Rider Saber featured a wide array of suit designs, making it my favorite Kamen Rider series so far in terms of suit aesthetics. So here are my top 10 rider suits from the show!
For this list, I'll be considering all suits, so multiple entries from the same rider is possible. All entries will come in no particular order. And this list is purely subjective, so feel free to share your own top 10.
1. Kamen Rider Saber Crimson Dragon
One of the reasons Kamen Rider Saber is my favorite rider in the show is that he's red. And Crimson Dragon capitalizes on that. I love red.
2. Kamen Rider Saber Dragonic Knight
Dragonic Knight is my overall favorite suit. Gallant-looking, elegant, and powerful, but not over the top.
3. Kamen Rider Slash Hanselnuts and Gretel
Slash has a very interesting suit concept: sweets. Never have candy, chocolates, and donuts looked so badass.
4. Kamen Rider Blades Hyoujuu Senki
Rintaro's final upgrade is simply majestic. The long white mane isn't only for show, it also can be used to defend and even fly!
5. Kamen Rider Espada Lamp do Alangina
Espada's base form is simple yet elegant. The combination of white and goldis solid and stylish.
6. Kamen Rider Calibur Jaou Dragon
The Jaou Dragon makes Calibur look like a dark king. Though the dark knight aesthetic of Jaaku Dragon looks nice too.
7. Kamen Rider Saikou X Swordman
What I love about X Swordman is that his comic book-inspired look gives the crazy combination of colors and prints, which actually work very well.
8. Kamen Rider Sabela
The only female in the list, Sabela proves how women can be badass. Don't let her femininity fool you. She floats like a butterfly, but stings like a bee. Literally.
9. Kamen Rider Falchion Eternal Phoenix
Falchion's design was okay, but I gotta admit, it grew on me before too long. He looks rather simple, but he's actually one of the most powerful swordsmen. I prefer this over Amazing Siren any day. I mean, it looks like an Oreo cookie.
10. Kamen Rider Solomon
Master Logos's rider suit is a hodgepodge of retooled and repainted parts such as Jaou Dragon's head, a recolored King Excalibur, and the armor is recycled from Zi-O's Kasshins. But overall, I think it actually works, considering that it's supposed to be based on the powers of all wonder ride books.
