Well it's pretty much what people were expecting; just a power upgrade that seems strangely without reason and is dictated by the Sentai footage more than actual logic. But really you can't ask for too much, and given what's being put into the reunion episode I don't know how people can be so picky.

Some people were really hyping the idea of doing a 'rival ranger team', and whilst that would be something interesting and not seen before, it would require twice as much of everything, including actors, footage and writing.

So, what about the Megaforce series that isn't super? Only 9 episodes aired ...

who cares anymore about mega force news saban im goin to watch it because i dont want power rangers to get canceled before saban has achance to fix this mess he calls the new ranger era he is killing it for my children i wanted them to be fans of power rangers like i was and later super sentai like i am now but the wont get a chance because the show goes m.i.a for months and now we have to wait another year 2014 to see anything face plam saban

The delay with Nick airing episodes is normal, we probably won't see much new stuff until the fall.

i agree with the one anon who wants to teach his children the shows values.

the show has gone m.i.a for months (its required by nick to have a 5+ month long break and the contract is renewed through this half) and we have to wait another year to see anything, we don't like you haim saban.

I want to see them morph into the goseiger suits then use their new morphers to morph into the gokaiger suits then use the goseiger keys to morph back into the goseiger suits. I want them to do that and give their great explanation to do that.

So they are using suits and mechas that are quite obviously a pirate theme, but it's just a "power upgrade" and they fight an "evil empire?" Plus the colors not even making sense since Goseiger is a different color scheme. Add that to that fact that they have to relate EVERYTHING to a new season, and the fact that they take one year to make 20 episodes...ugh...I swear Saban, you had better not ruin Gokaiger for me. I just hope I can at least watch it (unlike Samurai and Megaforce).

I knew that it will be released in 2014 because lets just say if they announce they have made a christmas special for december 2013 and halloween special for october 2013 then i know that the new season will air in 2014 by the way The 2013 season megaforce will end in a cliffhanger showing the beginning of the "Megabattle".

Why is the picture showing pre-Zyuranger (MMPR) teams?

Wasn't the Legend War supposed to be refilmed featuring only Zyuranger-Goseiger rangers excluding the Dairangers (except Kibaranger/White Ranger)?

nice plot and details for super megaforce. Though i really do hate the spilt season approach we been going since saban/nick and i really think it is a bit lazy with just adding super in the title. I really hope gobusters adaption doesnt do that. Overall cant wait to see how they will use gokai footage.

I know it won't happen but I wish they went all zeo with megaforce. That's pretty much the only way the new scheme would make sense. Like how Adam went from black to green. I have some hope for megaforce cause they have decent cameos coming in, I just hope it turns our well. like saban did with samurai he just had a bad season to start with cause it must have been tough to translate something Japanese traditional like the samurai way into an American snow like now he gas to translate a team of angel them of rangers for an American show where people are very touchy bout religion. So just give saban a chance he's doing the his best for the anniversary of the show he made famous in the first place. That's what being a fan is all bout

A suit change power up makes no sense? Meh. I wasn't upset when Mighty Morphin' went to Zeo, or when Zeo went to Turbo, etc. Why am I gonna be upset now? It's something unique to Power Rangers. Well from the sound of it, the suits aren't going to be "Upgrades" from the Goseiger suits, they're an entirely new power. Like when MMPR left behind the Dinosuits to become the Zeo rangers. I prefer it this way; not only does it solve the issue with the Black-Green powers, it also means we might start having recurring rangers like in the old days. Continuity anyone?

This doesn't really count as "revealing the plot" as, frankly, this could be the synopsis for ANY season of Power rangers. But at least it's something.

Okay this might be a dream, but I'd rather Disney brought it back and hand it to the folks at Marvel.

I know that children is the target audience, but Saban or at least someone represented him said that this season is for fans. And ditching several actors is a good move to entertain fans? NO.

I think Nickelodeon is the blame for this. They want to drag out a power rangers season for as long as possible and they hate the change of cast every year. They basically said 'So the kids gets all attached to the characters but after 1 year they have to get use to a whole new cast of characters?? Nahh that sounds bad'. So they make a season 2 years.

If we would of sticked to 1 season per year we would of been adapting and watching Gokaiger now, THE RIGHT WAY AND THE WAY IT SHOULD OF BEEN! Power Rangers Pirates...Power Rangers Pirate Squad or something like that. People are mad because Nickelodeon is dragging out power rangers for no reason and doing that makes people forget its even on tv. People wouldnt be complaining as much if the seasons were once a year. I think Saban can do a good job but they're being held back by Nickelodeon.

Remember the rumor that only GokaiSilver's suit would be used in Super Megaforce? Remember how "upset" everybody got? Now that we know that isn't true, those same people have the need to find something else to be "upset" with to justify their hate for Saban & Power Ranger (which Saban is not the sole licensee of). That includes the hate about the actors not returning (later finding out that only 10 were coming back in the first place). Now it's just a universal "Waaaaahhhhh, Saban ruins everything!!!!11!1" rant from the same people who wanted him to take Power Rangers back from Disney.

If I was Saban, I'd say "Fuck you. Stop watching." He could have let the franchise die in the U.S. when Disney was trying to kill it but he brung it back to rebuild it from the bottom and people start bitching... The word for that is "Ungratefulness".

They get the Sentai footage from Toei, they find ways to utilize it and how it could work for that episode, and then they hired the American actors for the adaptation and shoot brand new American footage to mix in with the Japanese footage from Toei.

And Power Rangers hasn't always had very great acting to begin with! But the acting got better as the seasons went along, so all of you bitching and moaning about how much the acting sucks and that the actors "can't act to save their life" even though the actors on Megaforce have had previous acting experience can quit using that as an excuse!

If all your going to do is bitch and moan because you aren't getting a Gokaiger adaptation and aren't willing to give Saban a chance because they are trying to make a hybrid adaptation for Super Megaforce which hasn't been done since MMPR seasons 2 and 3, THEN DON'T WATCH IT AND DO SOMETHING ELSE instead of wasting your time on a website looking for any Power Rangers news just so that you can bash the 2nd half of the season that hasn't even aired yet!

Power Rangers is enjoying the highest ratings in nearly a decade Most of the Disney Era Shows failed to break an average of a million Ninja Storm was the last one to do so Viewers Samurai did that off the bat and The Blue and the Gold Was the highest rated episode ever.

Power Rangers Megaorce is not hurting for ratings.
As for the instance of one of Super Samurai's episodes being pushed back because of poor ratings it was more that Nick was restructuring their entire schedule. SS wasn't the only show to have it's new episodes pushed a week.

I have always loved power rangers and then samurai came and i was like no. This isnt power rangers. I tried to watch mega force and couldnt. I just finnished watching kaizoku sentai gokaiger and i loved it so much. I really hope this new american gokaiger series doesnt mess the whole image up. I wish they would just use the same plot from the gokaiger series. It had such a good story and i loved the actors. I dont want anither messed up series like samurai and i hope they dont use the same same mighty morphing theme they have been using.
