Sad news to fans. Idol actor Kyousuke Hamao earlier announces his retirement from the industry via his official Ameblo blog and a special video broadcast. Hamao is known to play as Agri/GoseiBlack in the 2010 Super Sentai series, Tensou Sentai Goseiger.
Hamao mentioned that he worries about his future and wanted to continue his studies to get a professional degree, and hopes to fulfill his dream of becoming an interior designer. Crying, he thanked fans for all the support. Watch the recorded video from the broadcast below:

Kyousuke Hamao starred in various theater acts including The Prince of Tennis Musicals (2007-2009) as Eiji Kikumaru, Peacemaker (2011) as Souji Okita, and Sengoku Basara 3 (2011) as Chosokabe Motochika. Apart from Goseiger, he also starred in movies and TV shows such as the Takumi-kun (2008) boys-love film series, Gokusen 3 (2008) and Messiah (2013).
Kyousuke Hamao will be retiring after the premiere of his latest film this February 2014.

It's not easy leaving something to pursue something else, especially with a career change. But sometimes one has to in order to progress.

Wow, it's actually really weird to use the word 'retirement' in such early age... Then again things like this aren't a surprise in japan entertainment industry. I guess there are those who simply realize, that they cant stay and wont always fit in the showbiz all their life.
Great to know that the reason behind it is a conscious act to pursue a 'better future', rather than forcing yourself to stay in the biz by breaking yourself apart like what happened to many young actors in hollywood. It takes a lot of heart to make the best decision! Bravo!

Well he wasn't a very good actor, so this was probably for the better.

Did you know? I just found you yesterday on you tube by your serial "Takumi kun". I really excited that I could not stop to watch till end. I took a day off to spent my time watching Hamao-kun. And it was deep shock to know your retirement. I felt like fell from the sky down to earth. I was crying and i couldn't stop until now.
I just want you to know... That admire you so much since the first sight. You are adorable. I wish I could be there and cheer you up.
I know there is nothing I can do because this is too late. But I hope to see you again in the future as a lawyer or other you wish before.
