And looks like another show from our childhood will be making a comeback thanks to the good folks at Netflix! Yes, the legendary defender of the universe is back with a smokin' new look and here is our first look on it!
The image from above debuted on USA Today and fans will get to see the first footage of the series tomorrow on Wondercon.
This new Voltron series will have 13 episodes at 22 minutes each and will air later this year on Netflix. The series will follow the adventures of Keith, Lance, Hunk, Pidge and Shiro as the battle the forces of the evil King Zarkon.
Excited for the return of the Lion Force? Let's all hope that we will also get to see a revitalized Vehicle Team in the future!

Anyone remember the Nicktoons one-off Voltron Force from a few years ago? It was supposed to be a sequel to the original series. Why not re-air the original like Cartoon Network did as one of the first shows on its Toonami lineup (when the channel still showed cartoons hey-o!) instead of remaking it?
Who the helk is Shiro? Isn't it suppose to be Sven?
I remember vividly. I don't know why, but I thought it was a copy off of Super Sentai's Megazords
In reply to V, because we've already seen the original series episodes hundreds of times. I'm sure the creators of this version have as well, and just want to put their own spin on it, using modern tools and story telling techniques
