A very sad news has hit the whole Marvel and geek community as Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed the role of Marvel's Black Panther has passed away at the age of 43 due to his long 4 year battle with colon cancer.

Chadwick Boseman was diagnosed with colon cancer back in 2016 and progressed rapidly in years. In this time, Chadwick has portrayed the live-action Black Panther who debuted in Captain America: Civil War till Avengers: Endgame. He passed away in his home in Los Angeles with his family present at the time. The news was posted in the official Black Panther twitter account.

His family stated, "A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more- all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther."
