"We Were Not Invited in Power Rangers Super Megaforce"

Over the last couple of hours, a few more people had confirmed that they didn't get any invite from Saban for an appearance in the future episodes of Power Rangers Super Megaforce. These were in addition to Ninja Storm's Pua Magasiva and Jason Chan, and S.P.D.'s Brandon Jay McLaren and Matt Austin.

Recently confirmed not having received an invite are David de Lautour, known for his role as RJ/Violet Wolf Ranger in Power Rangers Jungle Fury; Ted, Tom and Tim DiFilippo, who played Trey of Triforia, the Gold Ranger from Power rangers ZEO; and, Dan Ewing, who played Dillon/Ranger Black in Power Rangers RPM.

Filming for the said episodes will be on May 25th and 26th.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce is the 21st season of Power Rangers continuing the celebration of the series 20th anniversary. The Megaforce rangers, will acquire a new "power up" in Super Megaforce and must be in this "new power-up" (Gokaiger suit) to transform into past rangers... This will also feature the appearance of the "historical rangers".

Oh well, Power Rangers will be cancelled !

    R.I.P. 1993-2009

  3. Rocky505 Says:

Well it makes sense that David wasn't invited. They already have Jason Smith for Jungle Fury.

  4. Anonymous Says:

Surprised to hear about Dan Ewing expressing interest in returning, he's become quite a star in Australia as a soap opera hearttrob.

  5. Anonymous Says:

Canceling Power Rangers at his point would be an act of mercy. Tzachor stewardship has been the worst in recent memory. Saban will never get rid him since there butt buddies and all

I'm laughing and crying at the same time now.

I'm happy to see that Super Megaforce is shaping up to be a train wreck. Decade was an anniversary train wreck, but look at what we got AFTER Decade.. I just hope that it can be done here.

I want justin nimmo(zhane) to return

  8. Anonymous Says:

I was really hoping for the Zeo Gold ranger to return.

  9. Anonymous Says:

Thing is they can't bring back Austin St. John, since that was his stage name back on MMPR/Zeo since they had 3 different main cast members named Jason on the show. Plus no one has been able to get into contact with him.

  12. Anonymous Says:

So we have two returning rangers so far huh? Well I guess this is what saban and disney get for being so cheap.

  13. Anonymous Says:

What wrong with Super Megaforce? Why this blog keep posting 'who is not invited'.? what is the point?

  14. Anonymous Says:

Well, Super Mega Force is turning out to be a complete fuck up as the fans had predicted. It just really sad that the anniversary series is turning out to be a big letdown even before filming has even started.

  15. arale norimaki Says:

people forgot how cheap saban is when on Vr troopers Battle Grid suits being low-quality spandex and the helmets simple recolors of the red ranger's from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

    Saban's worst show goes to

    Saban's Masked Rider
    Ferbus wtf is that?
Barbara Stewart is like 14 year old

"What wrong with Super Megaforce? Why this blog keep posting 'who is not invited'.? what is the point?"

Probably because it's considered relevant information to many fans. If you don't like it then don't read it.

This is shaping up to be terrible season. Tzachor is still the show runner. Troy is still the worst Red Ranger I have seen. Many of the writers from Samurai is slated to return. A known thief is set to return to represent the worst season of Power Rangers. On top of the Samurai cast returning bringing with them there terrible acting. Many past cast members can't return out of SAG obligations. Then there is the one's that didn't even bother to get the invite. Confidence is high that Tzachor will mutilate Gokaiger has he did with Shinkenger. What is there to look forward too? I just wish Saban stop labeling this as an "Anniversary Season". This tragedy is anything but...

  17. Unknown Says:

ok thats it i am now only a true sentai fan. if saban cant get their crap together old fans of the series and some new will give up on the long running series just like saban has by the look of it.

  18. To paraphrase Bruce Banner in the Avengers: "This isn't an anniversary, it's a time bomb."

@Anon 5/11/13 10:56PM: Really. Out of the entire OO cast, HE'S going to be the representative? Not James Maclurcan, who was cool enough to visit the set of Go-onger and pose for pics with the actors?

  19. Anonymous Says:

Corporate SCUM!! Mega Force was already bad. Super Mega Force is going to be terrible from the looks of things.

  20. Anonymous Says:

Remember how excited we were when Saban Bought Power Rangers back form Disney? Good times.

  21. Anonymous Says:

You know what I find weird?

The DiFilippo triplets, I heard on one account, really enjoyed being rangers and would like the opportunity to come back, kinda sucks now.

But we're still toku fans, right? We have so many things to enjoy, it's kind of pointless getting mad over one fuck-up (although I understand why everyone is getting mad).

I mean I used to watch PR and if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be enjoying half of the stuff I am now. So seeing a milestone achievement like this being handled like how it's going is kind of sad.

You know what's fucked up about this blog?

When gokaiger was out, we only got posts about who was invited to reprise their roles, however not a single post pointing out that a lot of the cast members didn't get invited. Where's the post how 4/5 gorengers weren't doing their role? And that denjiman and battle fever only got represented by one dude who was in both series and gavan, the list goes on.

Power rangers had 20 or more honestly 19 seasons, each had five, so that would mean their are 95 not accounting for the 6th and extra rangers and replacements. We only need 19 rangers to represent each series or less since I'm sure JDF will account for at least zeo and dino thunder. So that means there will be at most 76 uninvited rangers.
Does that mean Jefusion will get 76 posts about who wasn't invited or are we finally going to get hints at who we can expect to see next year?

Quit blowing this shit out of proportion sentai fans, ranger fans this doesn't mean this will be a bad season. Panic when officially no actors return and saban decided to make the season into a poorly dubbed forever red.

Though I still think the series should get extended by an other season while cutting the go-busters season in half.

  23. Anonymous Says:

well now we seethat the person who left their comment @ May 12, 2013 at 2:23 AM seems to be no more than a butt hurt PR fan that actually thought that megaforce was going to be some great series that blows sentai out the water lol. the thing is gokiger of course couldnt get all the people back but at least they got all the cool people back for the show and at least in sentai theres multible cool characters unlike PR where it seems like supid pr fans just care about tommy.

"Yay! more Power Rangers cameos dissapointments! Whoopdie freaking doodily doo."

Apparently so. Despite the shit he pulled at Morphicon. Tzachor must be desperate to invite that loser back. As for James, yeah he was cool to show love to Sentai like that. However in my eyes at least. That's not enough to compensate for his lack luster performance as Mack in Operation Overdrive. I won't be excited if he returns. However since filming is set to begin soon. So far virtually every past cast member is either in camp A) Invite camp that did get invited but have to turn down due to SAG obligations. Or camp B) Didn't get the invite at all. This is going to be a shitty season. Mark my words

Looks like your in the minority. Sentai and Power Rangers fans both are equally disgusted over what's going down behind the scene. Stop trying preach as if your the rational voice. People are pissed off and rightfully so. You don't like this blog? Then go somewhere else. Good luck on finding a toku site that isn't talking about this farce though.

    Cool Story Bro

There is a distinct difference in the point your attempting to make. Everyone that came back for Gokaiger was a "Fan Favorite". Can you say the same thing about the bench warmers coming back for Super Mega Force? I don't think so

  28. Anonymous Says:

^ God, don't even start with comparing Sentai and Saban together. There really wasn't much complaints for Gokaiger roles because Japan knows what they're doing if you paid attention.

  29. Anonymous Says:

If can't invite previous heroes, just don't celebrate 20th anniversary and don't use gokaiger suits....use decade suit

  30. Anonymous Says:

Megaforce is really the bad Power Rangers program ever, better than Mystic Force(2006)

Speaking of MF,maybe the cast of these series can't reprising his roles also, like the confirmation of several SPD,Ninja Storm and MMPR heroes not appearing(the Snow Ranger actress,Petra Ruther, was died in 2010)

The only way to Saban and Nickelodeon deciding the future of Megaforce: erase the second season and make only one adventure with full Goseiger footage, without any references of Gokaiger

Rumors saying that an french channel was aquired the first season to broadcasting, maybe the country's Nickelodeon

Megaforce, for me,was the end of line for Saban

  31. Anonymous Says:

Awww~~ Saban's dog is starting to bark!

  32. Anonymous Says:

This is crazy. Some anniversary season this is going to be. When your a little kid things like this don't matter, but when a teenager or an adult, this is serious. I can't believe a lot of the past actors won't appear and that some declined. I know that anyone can be in those suits, but come on. I am at least glad that some will appear. And another thing, why is Saban using the Gokaiger suits for the transformation? If Saban had bought them back sooner, they could have gotta Gokaiger as the 20th season instead of making another hybird. I hope that all the ranger suits of the past will appear at least.

  33. Anonymous Says:

This whole crap of the "anniversary" is going to be dope, especially the latest rangers so far, not doing a good job Saban -_-
