From experience of my brother's Mobirates (and googling some images) it appears to be identical to the Japanese toy... which begs the question "do the smaller US Ranger Keys still have the same size teeth".

It would be awesome if Sentai fans who don't want to spend a fortune importing could grab keys off the shelves & use they with their Mobirates.

Pffft " Legendary Morpher" hahaha. They just keep picking the worst names.

  3. $80 for the Legendary version of the Dragon Dagger? And Anonymous #2, this is the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers so it makes sense.

  4. Anonymous Says:

I wonder if someone in the show will point out that the whole "Legendary"-Stuff has a Pirate-motif.

On the contrar, I would rather import than buy anything marked by Saban. My money would fund them and their dumb-ass president will continue to make stupid decisions with producer who don't know shit, who couldn't even hire other Saban actors and didn't even tell the Disney actors and deny Rhett Fisher due to "budget problems", giving us product names that not even 5yo would ever come up with (and i agree with Anon @ September 9, 2013 at 7:18 PM) leaving us with a sham of a show that has no storyline and will cram two separate SS in the next season, and sell products that look like a $1 chinese knock-off. Hell to the fuck no. They are toe up from the flo up.

BTW I stopped watching "MegaForce" after Ep 9 b/c it obvious, they don't know what they're doing. They are still behind and they most likely don't know about Go-Busters. They need to take several seats before I slap the shit out of them, make them eat it and have it come out the other end.

"Morpher." Pfft. We all know it's just a power-up.

The Mobirates, now THAT is a morpher.

  7. Anonymous Says:

Like Mobirate was any better? I swear you people will complain about anything and everything.

  8. Bryd0 Says:

    "Legendary Morpher"

Its official. Saban is bad at adapting things after Mighty Morphing Power Rangers!

  9. Anonymous Says:

What's wrong with the name Legendary Morpher? This isn't a bash or anything, but care to say why it is bad?

I mean, the name isn't like Gosei Great Grand Megazord, which seems a little bit too much to me. Is there a reason why you think it's the worst name for the morpher?

You're not just saying it because the Power Rangers version changed the name, which means it's automatically terrible and/or saying it to get on the bandwagon that anything PR sucks, right?

  10. "Pffft " Legendary Morpher" hahaha. They just keep picking the worst names."

    Why, because it's different?

$7.99 for a ranger key set??? Not bad, I may even buy some if they release the rangers that I want. I may even buy the Legendary morpher. But for the Legacy Dragon Dagger $79.99??? geez they are pushing it. But the dagger is die cast metal. So yeah 80 bucks for a cool metal dagger, definitely worth it. Just think of what people will do with them...

2nd anonymous: what name would you have chosen for the Mobirate? Considering the theme of super megaforce is "legendary" i think legacy morpher makes sense.

  13. Unknown Says:

Just a reminder: Power Rangers and Digimon Fusion will not air Sep. 21 due to Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play.

  14. Anonymous Says:

20 Anniversary with a Pirate Motif. Yeah, I can see how that would make sense. Facepalm.jpeg. I have no idea why some of you guys continue to rationalize the bone head decisions being made for this 20 Anniversary.

  15. Anonymous Says:

Lets see "Mobirates". Mobile phone check. Synonymous with a Pirate theme Sentai check. Yeah make sense to me. And by the way its not complaining if the obvious is being stating. Again, we find another Saban neckbeard fanboy in denial.

  16. Anonymous Says:

No because it doesn't make sense. I swear you guys are the reason power rangers have been utter shit for a good while now.

  17. Anonymous Says:

I still wait on what horrible way they will use Basco and Sally if at all used. Though with the Pirate motif of Gokaiger used as Legendary the mind boggles on why Saban couldn't make an ORIGINAL look. Still hate that Navi gets the shaft on the us Gokaiger figuarts. (Also Goeseiger gold modes no love at all and to me THAT should be SMF)

Make Gokaiger's americanization the 21st PR series woulda been okay. Thats what is mostly ticking me off. Glad sticking to sentai and avoiding PR like the plague.

  18. Anonymous Says:

Apologies if this statement might offended you but is today's Power Rangers are aimed for new younger audiences not for twenty/thirty- something people?

  19. @Anonymous September 10, 2013 at 6:01 PM

    20 Anniversary with a Pirate Motif = Facepalm.jpeg.

35 Anniversary with a Pirate Motif = awesome?

    I smell hypocrisy.

No one said it didn't fit the theme, it's just as bland a name as Legendary. You people just whine about everything that isn't the Sentai counterpart. Legendary fits as it uses the powers of the legendary rangers, a tagline they've been using for this anniversary for a while. It's not a bad name but you purists got your head so far up your rear that anything that isn't the Sentai sucks by default. Saban hasn't had the greatest record (like Samurai) but same goes for any other company. I mean look at Toei, they brought us Wizard which has been dreadful.

I'm sorry but why is everyone pissing an moaning about all this? It's just a toy. I mean some of you guys are throwing insults around at each other. I honestly don't know what for.

I used to be part of this fandom but moved on with my life. Glad I'm not missing much! Just a bunch of 20-30 year olds that are still having the same petty squabbles about nothing important.

If you don't like the toy, buy the Mobirates. If you don't like the TV show, don't watch it.

By the way, this isn't me being a troll or anything like that. This is me telling you to all get a grip and quit arguing about stuff that's not important.

  22. Anonymous Says:

No one asked, or cares, why you don't watch power rangers. Also, don't tell me "mobirates" is a better name than "legendary morpher". It doesn't make any sense as an english word.

  23. Glenn Says:

Legendary morpher isn't bad but it doesn't go with the theme. The theme is pirates, not legends. Dino Thunder, Ninja Storm, SPD, Samurai all fit the motif and their powers are related to the motif whereas this seems to pass over the fact they are pirates and focuses on what they're Morphers do, Final Wave is pretty Damn cool and that comes from the pirate attire not legendary. These morphers give them access to legendary powers but it doesn't note the motif, why are they pirates? Why go from what they are now to pirates... nothing makes sense. Maybe Silver will be a space pirate and they'll flip it making him alien whereas his sentai was human. But
Why go from Zeo to Turbo, right? But that didn't work until they changed the rangers to along with the powers cause their fighting styles differed the Zeo Rangers dramatically. Like Gokai Red, he fights laid back, cocky and would shoot first, Gosei Red fights with energy and enthusiastic. It will be harder to pull off the Blue Ranger's character from geek who can't fight to the teams best swordsman. Then there's the history with Basco but none of these rangers have a backstory just stereotypical characteristics.
