Power Rangers Super Megaforce's Legendary Morpher Packaging Previewed

At New York Comic-Con, our friends at Herotaku got themselves a first look at the upcoming release of the Deluxe Legendary Morpher that will be featured in next year's Power Rangers Super Megaforce TV series. Scheduled for 2014 release, the set comes with two Red Ranger Keys.

According to previous reports, the Deluze Legendary Morpher is priced at $29.99 while Ranger Keys are priced at $7.99 per set.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce focuses on the Rangers' mission to defeat a massive alien army Armada that was sent to conquer Earth. To face this threat, Gosei, a supernatural guardian who has protected Earth for centuries, gives the Rangers special morphers and keys, which allow them to morph into Super Megaforce Rangers. The Rangers also have an added special ability to morph into any team of Power Rangers from the past. These super-sized adventures can only mean one thing: the all-new Power Rangers Super Megaforce has arrived!

Hmmm, this looks okay, though part of me thinks that they should of also included another ranger key, like Megaforce Red, Red Zeo or Red Wild Force ranger

i hope that the original ranger key can be use

And here we have another sentai fanboy ranting about PR. You wouldn't have heard about Sentai if it weren't for Saban.

Also, stop talking trash about a season that hasn't released yet.

WOW, the Anon@2:12-PM throws up a compelling argument.

If you don't like Power Rangers, then don't watch and stick to Super Sentai.

No one's stopping you from doing so. Also, Saban's been crediting Toei company for a while now so, don't think he takes the credit on EVERYTHING.

And if Power Rangers is uncreative, then how come in Tokumei Sentai GoBusters, the team use the terms "It's Morphing Time" and "Megazords" through-out the season?

It's Toei giving a nod to Power Rangers. Heck, in Power Rangers RPM, they even use the Go-Onger van and say the Go-Onger name perfectly.

Again, if you don't like Power Rangers, go ahead and keep watch Super Sentai from either the official DVDs or from the various fan-sub sites.

NOW, onto the relevant topic at hand:
I kinda like the Legendary Morpher/That's the name they're sticking with, huh?

I like how the toy comes with 2 keys. Sure, with the original Mobirates, it came with 3 keys from Gokaiger, Shinkenger/Samurai, and Go-Onger/RPM, but I can deal with just 2 keys to start you off and to buy the rest of the stuff later.

I'm liking the Super Megaforce merchandise so far.

The Ranger Key looks fat ._.

  6. CP Says:

^ Hey look everyone it's a weeaboo, lets laugh at its stupidity.

  7. Seriously, those Ranger Keys are too fat.

  8. Anonymous Says:

To i hate power rangers: NEWS FLASH!! Super Sentai is a kids show, too. Anyways, I'm looking forward to the release.

  9. Anonymous Says:

the power ranger keys are fat compaired to the supr sentai gokaiger ones.

The "blah blah you wouldn't ever know Super Sentai existed if it wasn't for Power Rangers blah blah blah" is getting old

Plus not everyone discovered Super Sentai while searching for PR stuff, most Pre-Zyuranger series were aired in several countries (and were very popular in some of them)

  11. Scott Says:

Agreed. I mean, I don't think the Power Rangers rant was necessary, but the whole arguement that it "introduced us to Sentai" is a weak one as well.

  12. Anonymous Says:

Hahahaha Here comes the comments from the PR fanboys. True, if it wasn't for Saban some of us would have never had heard of Sentai. Non the less. Since being exposed to a "Superior Product". You can't dismiss the faults of modern PR. The story or lack there of is trash. The cast is decent. Except for Troy and Gia who are as useless as Gosei and Johnny # 5. Also, Bandai America makes shitty watered down products compared to Bandai Japan. It seems to me that a good number of you are in complete denial. And stop fucking using "but, but it's a kid show" argument. Kids are even bored of Power Rangers. Look at the ratings. Those speak for itself. Harry Potter is aimed at kids too and that's more intelligent then the shit that Saban and Nick puts out. That's it im done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  13. Anonymous Says:

Do Sentai Purists purposely go on Power Rangers blogs and sites to comment on how Power Rangers sucks? Do they really have nothing else better to do?

Anyways, I'm getting all these right when they're released. I think I'm just as excited to see American Gokaiger 4inch figures like I am with the Ranger Keys and Legendary Morpher.

  14. Anonymous Says:

wow...theres alot of people bicthing about power rangers being worse than sentai.

  15. Anonymous Says:

You do know without power rangers you or anybody for that matter would have never heard of super sentai and also super sentai is a kids show too

  16. Anonymous Says:

I'm gonna be honest the ranger key does look fat compared to Gokaiger's Ranger Key!! Other than that the super megaforce merchandises look okay. I just wished Super Megaforce TV Show would be the same!! Oh well!!!

  17. Anonymous Says:

What peeves me is people wanting these toys as Gokaiger toy replacements. If you want Gokaiger toys get gokaiger toys. Hell wait for the figuarts to get released over here. But don't say stuff now about oh these toys are too buff and america sucks or whatever. It has always been this way and people want to complain now because it's gokaiger. Gokaiger is not the be-all end-all the fandom has made it out to be. I love gokaiger myself but despite the source material and aesthetics this isn't gokaiger.

  18. Unknown Says:

They are tiny...i was there today. I had friends that had the mobilates and ranger keys from gokaiger. the super megaforce keys are about 1/4 - 1/3 smaller. They wont work on the japanese mobilates

  19. Anonymous Says:

@I hate power rangers, if you hate PR so much, then by all means, stop watching it. There are plenty of sites to watch Super Sentai. So please do all the sensible people a favor and quit bitching.

  20. Anonymous Says:

The morpher looks passable, but the keys are UGLY! Seriously, there's no other way to describe it. I don't know why they couldn't have made them look like the Sentai Ranger Keys.

  21. Unknown Says:

when i first see the picture i think it was gokaiger on the box, but it just power ranger super megaforce. I hope the show will be good.

  22. Anonymous Says:

What I do hope is that we do get the dairanger keys and Bandai America wasn't teasing us at SDCC

  23. Anonymous Says:

Honestly the keys dont even look that bad and the morpher looks amazing for Bandai america
